Rising star Sydney Sweeney, known for her roles in “Euphoria,” “The White Lotus,” “Immaculate” and “Anyone But You,” has secured another achievement. The 25-year-old actress received the prestigious IMDb “Fan Favorite” STARmeter Award at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday.

The award recognizes the most popular celebrities on IMDbPro’s STARmeter charts, which are determined by page views from over 250 million monthly visitors to IMDb. Sweeney’s popularity has kept her in the top 10 of the charts for an incredible 20 weeks in 2024.

Sweeney received the award on Sunday, September 8, at the Getty Images Portrait Studio during the Toronto International Film Festival, where her latest film, “Eden,” directed by Ron Howard, premiered. The survival drama follows a group of German settlers who turn their backs on society and attempt to establish a settlement on a South American island. Sweeney stars alongside Jude Law, Vanessa Kirby and Ana de Armas. The actress expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you to IMDb and to all the fans who have visited my page to learn more about all the projects I have been so grateful to have been a part of.
