The biggest losers included Sikko Industries Ltd. (down 3.31%), Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd. (down 2.23%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd. (down 1.91%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. (down 1.02%), Aries Agro Ltd. (down 0.97%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. (down 0.87%), Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd. (down 0.83%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Ltd. (down 0.64%) and National Fertilizers Ltd. (down 0.20%).

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 16.46 points lower at 24351.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 19.1 points at 79686.81 at around 10:45 am.

JSW Steel Ltd. (up 1.55%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 1.1%), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 1.08%), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 0.92%), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 0.88%), Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 0.88%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (up 0.74%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (up 0.61%), Infosys Ltd. (up 0.54%) and Tata Steel Ltd. (up 0.48%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd. (down 2.41%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. (down 1.9%), NTPC Ltd. (down 1.59%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 1.47%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 1.43%), Nestle India Ltd. (down 1.23%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 1.06%), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (minus 1.0%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (minus 0.97%) and Britannia Industries Ltd. (minus 0.87%) in the red.
