Saturday 10 August, the big final day of sport climbing at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. It will end in style with the women’s bouldering and lead combination. After yesterday’s gold for 19-year-old Briton Toby Roberts, silver for 17-year-old Sorato Anraku and bronze for the tireless 33-year-old Jakob Schubert, today all eyes are on the top 8 athletes: Janja Garnbret, Jessica Pilz, Brooke Raboutou, Ai Mori, Oriane Bertone, Oceania Mackenzie, Erin McNeice and Chaehyun Seo. Dealing with the pressure and expectations will be difficult, especially for Garnbret, who has secured her place as the absolute favourite in the hunt for her second Olympic gold.

The final chapter begins at 10:15. For anyone not in the French capital, here’s the full list of how to watch the Olympics, including Eurosport with the excellent Shauna Coxsey and Matt Groom. Alternatively, join the team at Planetmountain for our live coverage, starting just before 10:15. It promises to be another great, historic competition. See you soon!
