The spoilers for “The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) finally has a ring on her finger and is looking forward to her upcoming wedding.

Since Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is not expected to be released from the institution until the fall, Abby and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) have no plans to rush into a wedding.

Instead, Devon and Abby chose November 13th as their wedding date.

It also happens to be Abby’s birthday, and she can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by marrying the man she loves.

Plus, it’s far enough away that Ashley can attend if her doctors’ predictions are correct.

However, a lot can still happen before November, especially if another happy couple decides to get married.

Could a double wedding be imminent in Genoa City?

Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) fall head over heels in love, so an engagement could well happen soon.

When Alan proposes sometime in the next few months, Abby may want to be a beautiful bride alongside Traci.

It’s easy to imagine Abby hyping up the perfect guest list since she shares many loved ones with her aunt.

Many Y&R fans hope that Traci marries Alan and lives happily ever after, so a wedding may actually be in the works.

It would be fun to see two Abbott women get married at the same time, so Traci and Alan could agree to attend Abby and Devon’s wedding.

Although Traci might have reservations about barging in on Abby’s big day, it’s possible that Abby could be the one to suggest it, arguing that it would make their wedding extra special.
