Fall is considered the shoulder season for many destinations, making it the ideal time to snag a great flight deal. Spirit Airlines is the latest airline to discount a wide range of flights. For a limited time, one-way flights are available starting at $50.
“With these offers, you can turn endless conversations into real fun,” the airline said on its website. “Book a great deal now and make it happen.”
The airline’s Get Out of Group Chat sale ends tonight, September 17, at 11:59 p.m. ET and can be booked directly on Spirit’s website. These special fares are available for travel between September 23 and December 18. However, travel between November 21 and December 1, as well as all flights on Friday and Sunday, are excluded from the sale.
No discount code is required to find these offers, And Travel + Leisure found plenty of one-way tickets for $50 that are bookable until the end of 2024:

Even cross-country flights, like Spirit’s nonstop service between Los Angeles (LAX) and Atlanta (LAX), can be booked for slightly more, starting at $55 each way. However, these special deals are only available on Spirit’s “Go” fare class, which includes a free personal item but charges extra for additional services.
However, Spirit recently revamped its ticketing options. Some of the improved fares now include carry-on luggage, seat selection, Wi-Fi and other perks. Earlier this year, the budget airline introduced a major innovation by allowing all passengers to change or cancel their flights without penalty.
