Sophia Bush showcases iconic retro outfits from One Tree Hill, more than two decades after her first appearance as Brooke Davis

Generation Y fans are always nostalgic for their favorite TV shows – and many of them are still obsessed with One Tree Hill, even though the series ended in 2012.

Sophia Bush, 42, let nostalgia take over as she dressed up like her character Brooke Davis in some of the character’s best costumes and showed them off in a now-viral TikTok.

Sophia showcased the ensembles in a video posted on August 18, wearing a collection of outfits from the 2000s, including halter tops and tunics over jeans. She captioned it, “Clothes over mates 21 years later,” which matched her character’s fashion collection.

“We all know B. Davis would have *loved* TikTok trends,” the Drama Queens podcast host captioned the TikTok video for her 611,000 followers, who loved and wholeheartedly agreed with the sentimental social media post.

Many of the outfits came courtesy of Audrey Long, who runs celebrity fashion store XOXOPoshipGirl, which specialises in reselling designer clothes from famous early 2000s TV shows such as Gossip Girl and Sex and the City – and Audrey told FEMAIL how she sent some of the pieces directly to Sophia.

“I spent months researching and assembling 16 authentic designer outfits for Sophia Bush that she wore during her One Tree Hill days as Brooke Davis,” Audrey told DailyMail.com.

The Gen Z influencer scoured the internet for specific tops, skirts and dresses from popular 2000s designers, including BCBGMaxazria, Juicy Couture, Dolce & Gabbana and Catherine Malandrino, that were originally worn on the basketball TV show.

In March, Audrey met Sophia at a fan convention, where she handed out all of the outfits in person—and each one was specially paired with a picture of Brooke wearing the same outfit at the time.

Sophie was overjoyed to “wear her iconic outfits again” and remembered each one from the CW show.

Audrey’s website still has some of the clothes Brooke wore on the show, including an embellished tank top she wore on set, a black mini dress and an asymmetrical red going-out top from Theory.

While Sophia started the TikTok video in a 2024 outfit – jeans, a black top, and a beige blazer – she had no trouble quickly channeling her high school cheerleader alter ego and slipping back into her kitten heels.

Sophia showcased a sultry red lace crop top with low-rise jeans, a red strapless dress and strappy pumps, a peach tunic over denim capris, a dress with a jeweled collar and pointed toe pumps, a flirty purple ruffle dress with a silver studded belt and matching pointed pumps, and a colorful pink paisley print sundress.

The John Tucker Must Die actress made sure to match her hairstyle to her younger counterpart, from tousled waves to messy updos to match the photos she showed of Brooke on screen.

Fans liked the throwback and appreciated the California native’s dedication to this look.

One joked, “Rest in peace Brooke Davis, you would have loved OOTDs,” and another declared, “Brooke Davis would have been THE QUEEN of TikTok.”

“The real question is how could she not have aged in 21 years???” asked one commenter.

The former OTH player often reminisces about her time on television as a teenager, as she hosts the popular “Drama Queens Rewatch” podcast alongside her former co-stars Bethany Joy Lenz and Hilarie Burton.

However, Hilarie recently announced that she was stepping down amid rumors of a feud. The co-stars will instead be joined by Robert Buckley, who played sports agent Clay Evans in seasons seven through nine starting in 2009.

The teen drama, which ran for nine seasons from 2003 to 2012, is still popular 20 years later, and there are always rumors about a revival.
