Sixth wife of 91-year-old billionaire who died 2 months after their wedding speaks out

The sixth wife of Austrian construction billionaire Richard Lugner has paid tribute to her husband on social media.

On Monday (12 August), the entrepreneur died in his villa in Vienna, Austria.

The 91-year-old died just two months after marrying 42-year-old actress Simone Reiländer.

Lugner and Reiländer got married a little over two months ago, on June 1, in Vienna City Hall.

He was previously married to Christine Gmeiner, Cornelia Laufersweiler, Susanne Dietrich, Christina Lugner and Playboy model Cathy Schmitz and leaves behind four children from his previous relationships.

The US Sun reported that the businessman had suffered from various health problems in recent months and was reportedly hospitalized twice in July after suffering from back pain and later a ruptured heart valve.

And Reiländer has since commented on her husband’s death on Instagram.

On Tuesday (August 13), she shared a painted portrait of her late husband on Instagram.

The caption reads: “You were the dream of my life. And when I saw you beaming at the sight of me, I knew I was yours too. With love.”

And she is not the only one who expressed her appreciation for the businessman on social media.

The Lugner shopping center Lugner City wrote on Facebook: “Our engineer Richard Lugner, our mortar and above all our beloved boss, has unfortunately left us today.

“We can hardly express our pain in words. The grief is indescribable, but we want to remember all the wonderful and wonderful times we had together. With one eye laughing and one eye crying, we say goodbye to the great Richard Lugner, but he will remain in our hearts forever!”

Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer shared a photo on Twitter of himself, Lugner and the billionaire’s companion, Priscilla Presley, at the Vienna Opera Ball.

He wrote: “Richard Lugner was a successful entrepreneur and a dazzling personality. An Austrian original who never lost his way. May he rest in peace!”

And First Vienna FC tweeted: “In memory of Richard Lugner. It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to Richard Lugner, our long-time partner and friend. His support was one of the building blocks for Vienna’s comeback. Our thoughts are with his family. Thank you for everything.”
