St. Clair Shores, Michigan. – When a tractor-trailer crashed into a bridge on I-94, the side of a truck was ripped off and bandages were scattered everywhere.
The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon, August 20, 2024, in the eastbound lanes of I-94 at 9 Mile Road in St. Clair Shores.
Aerial photographs showed the remains of a Penske truck on the right shoulder of the highway, surrounded by jars of white dressing.
The passenger side of the trailer was completely severed from the truck and wrapped around the side of the overpass.
Various boxes and truck parts were scattered between the bridge and the spot where the semi-trailer came to a stop about thirty meters away.
On Tuesday, as of 1:30 p.m., only the left lane was open for eastbound traffic.
