Should James Cameron make another Alien movie?

What do you think of David Corenswet’s Superman and Clark Kent costumes?

Set photos from Ohio have revealed the best look yet at David Corenswet’s Superman costume, and also a first look at his alter ego Clark Kent, complete with curly hair. The Superman costume is still controversial, with some preferring Henry Cavill’s sleeker design and many preferring the old-school comic book aesthetic. But what do you think? Do the Man of Steel and his mild-mannered disguise look like this?

Should Channing Tatum get his own Gambit movie?

Channing Tatum is finally taking on the role of Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine and fans, myself included, are thrilled. It’s one of the best “cameos” in the film and his performance is being praised all over social media. I would love to see Channing return as Gambit, but it’s hard to say when a Gambit movie would fit into the MCU’s plans. After just this little taste of him, I can’t imagine anyone else in the role. He nailed the accent and looked incredible in the costume – not to mention the amazing action sequences. If he doesn’t get his own movie, I hope he shows up in movies like Avengers vs. X-Men at some point (whenever we get him).

Could the success of Inside Out 2 backfire for Pixar?

Inside Out 2 is currently the highest-grossing animated film in cinema history, but Pixar may be taking the wrong message from that success. Inside Out 2 is a great sequel, but box office records shouldn’t mean Pixar should continue to focus on sequels. Instead, Pixar should capitalize on the surprise success of an original film like Elemental and continue to develop strong new material. My favorite Pixar films in recent years, including Luca and Soul, have been originals. Hopefully the animation studio doesn’t go too far down the remake/reboot/sequel route that many others have taken.

What is Heather Ledger’s best movie?

After Heath Ledger’s tragic death at 28, I wonder what he could have accomplished as an actor. Fortunately, in his short life, he left behind a great filmography and legacy. Many of his films, such as 10 Things I Hate About You, A Knight’s Tale, and Brokeback Mountain, are still celebrated and fondly remembered today. However, I believe The Dark Knight is his best film. His portrayal of the Joker is the best portrayal of the character to date, and The Dark Knight is one of the best superhero films. The film was groundbreaking and probably the one Heath Ledger will forever be most famous for.

Should the Conjuring series continue after Last Rites?

The release date for The Conjuring: Last Rites was recently confirmed for September 2025. With the fourth sequel set to be the final main installment in the horror franchise, the future of the interconnected universe remains uncertain. With no sequels to Annabelle or Nun currently in the works, and the previously announced TV series not receiving any major updates in recent years, the end does indeed seem to be near. Despite the disappointing storytelling of Nun, the Conjuring series should continue and provide other up-and-coming filmmakers with a chance to shine, as Annabelle: Creation, starring David F. Sandberg, and Nun, starring Corin Hardy, did.

What is the best Civil War movie?

There are many films that revolve around the Civil War, including 2024’s Civil War, which I think is fantastic, but not for the best Civil War film. Glory is top-notch, but there is one film that is completely underrated and that people often forget about or don’t know exists: 1993’s Gettysburg. Because it’s four and a half hours long, viewers tend to shy away from watching it, but I’d say it’s worth watching and makes good use of every second of its runtime. The length allows the film to go into detail about the events of the Battle of Gettysburg and portray them in a compelling and fascinating way. Plus, all of the actors deliver unforgettable performances.
