Sheetz is opening four new diesel lane stores for trucks later this month. The four stores, located in Middletown, Virginia; Asheville, North Carolina; Warsaw, North Carolina and Romulus, Michigan, will offer high flow diesel fuel and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) for commercial vehicles, as well as a truck scale and free parking for truck drivers to park overnight.
The Michigan location will be Sheetz’ first store in the state.
According to Sheetz, new stores opening in August include:
- Middletown, Virginia: Located at 121 Confidence Lane, this new store has nine lanes for truckers and is easily accessible for truckers via Exit 302 on Interstate 81.
- Asheville, North Carolina: Located at 5440 Asheville Highway in Hendersonville, this new store has four lanes for truckers and is easily accessible for truckers via Exit 44 on Interstate 26.
- Warsaw, North Carolina: Located at 2543 W NC 24 Highway, this new store has five lanes for trucks and is easily accessible for truckers via Exit 364 on Interstate 40.
- Romulus, Michigan: Sheetz’ first store in Michigan. This location, located at 33380 Wick Road, will have four lanes for truckers and will be easily accessible to truckers via Exit 197 on Interstate 94.
Each store’s grand opening will feature free self-serve coffee and soda throughout the day, as well as several prizes, including a grand prize of free Sheetz for a year in the form of a $2,500 gift card.
Sheetz also encourages its customers to donate non-perishable food items and gives away a Sheetz-branded thermal bag to all donors (maximum of one per customer).
Earlier this week, Sheetz was named in Newsweek’s “America’s Best Retailers 2024” ranking. The retailer recently opened new stores in Dayton, Ohio, Lancaster, Ohio, Wilmington, North Carolina and Bowie, Maryland, among others.
