REAGANwith Dennis Quaid as Ronald Reagan. The first full-length feature film about the 40th US President is scheduled to be released exclusively in cinemas nationwide from August 30, 2024. A film premiere took place at the AMC Theater in Franklin before the release last weekend.

Guests at the event included Dennis Quaid, Tanya Tucker, Chad Seats and Dennijo Seats of the Flat River Band, Darci Lynne, Jenny Tolman, Phil Vassar, Randy Owen and more.

Quaid brings to life a story that goes beyond the boundaries of a traditional biopic, offering a profound examination of the lasting impact of the strength of one man who overcame all adversity, strengthened by the love of a woman who supported him along the way: Nancy Reagan, played by Penelope Ann Miller.

“I’ve only ever been told bits and pieces of Ronald Reagan’s life, but this film puts the whole story together,” Quaid noted in a press release. “I’ve played quite a few real people over the years and I like to play them from their point of view without judgment. It was a big challenge for me to look beyond the man’s public persona and also go beyond my own feelings of admiration for him.”

The REAGAN The cast also includes a number of impressive supporting actors, including Mark Moses, Trevor Donovan, Xander Berkeley, Dan Lauria, Amanda Righetti, C. Thomas Howell, Nick Searcy, Justin Chatwin and Robert Davi.
