    Lyer writes: “The Seahawks took care of the Broncos, Patriots and undermanned Dolphins, with two of the games being played at home. “This is a tough road trip on Monday night, even though they recently won in Detroit with Geno Smith.” The Lions found their fast-paced running game again last week to relieve pressure on Jared Goff.

    Staff writes: “The Seahawks may have trouble on the ground against the Lions, who have allowed just 2.76 yards per carry to opposing running backs this year, but Geno Smith should have no trouble getting the ball to his talented receiving corps. No QB has completed more completions (77) than Geno Smith this season. It looks like the Seahawks are in for a loss, but I don’t see a way for the Lions to win this decisively. I’m buying the points for Seattle Monday Night I’ll also bet on Seattle to win outright.

    Michael Briggs writes: “I expect the Lions to show their pride on Monday night and present a struggling Seahawks team with a well-rounded performance at home. “Detroit should be able to run the football with ease against the visitors’ depleted front.” Goff made money in the Hall (26-9 ATS in the Hall) after the Tigers failed in the postseason, which is also Seattle’s case going 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games will be the betting favorites to win and cover on Monday Night Football!”
