SEATTLE – Wombi has launched in Seattle, making it the second city where the company is offering its electric cargo subscription service as the city increases access for e-bikes throughout the city.
The company was founded last summer in Los Angeles and has now moved to 8558 Greenwood Avenue North in Seattle.
Unlike Lime’s bikes, scooters or LimeGliders, the Wombi bikes work as a leasing subscription model. You have the bike on a monthly basis and not per ride.
How much do Wombi e-bikes cost?
The cheapest option is the Tern Quick Haul, which starts at $115 per month, followed by the Tern HSD at $135 and Tern GSDs at $150.
For more information on parking, location and services, visit Wombi’s Seattle page.
Are there zone restrictions?
Wombi says residents within a six-mile radius of the Greenwood store have virtually unlimited access, and delivery is also free. People outside that area may be able to subscribe, but the company says additional fees are likely to apply.
