Sunday night brought a lot of bad news for the Los Angeles Rams. Puka Nacua injured his knee and missed half the game, Joe Noteboom was out with an ankle injury, and Steve Avila missed the second half with a knee injury of his own.

However, Sean McVay had some good news after his team’s 20-26 overtime loss. He told reporters that Rob Havenstein, who missed the game due to ankle problems, could be back in the near future.

His participation was questionable from the start, so it’s not like he was out on Friday, but it’s good to hear that his return is getting closer.

“We’ll see how serious the injuries are for those guys,” McVay said of Noteboom and Avila. “Obviously we’ll get Alaric back in a couple of weeks. I think Rob’s return will be sooner rather than later.”

Warren McClendon Jr. held his own at right tackle, but AJ Arcuri underperformed at left tackle. If Havenstein returns, the Rams can at least try McClendon at left tackle until Jackson returns from suspension in Week 3.
