Saoirse Ronan was seen for the first time since her secret marriage to Jack Lowden as she attended the premiere of her new film ‘The Outrun’ in Edinburgh on Thursday.

The 30-year-old Irish actress proudly showed off her beautiful gold wedding ring as she walked the red carpet in a chic mini dress.

Saoirse’s The look featured silver sequin embellishments and highlighted her long, toned legs, while she completed the outfit with black strappy pumps.

It was reportedly a private ceremony at Edinburgh Registry Office, attended by only a handful of their closest friends and family.

The four-time Oscar nominee and the 34-year-old Scottish actor met in 2018 when they starred together in Mary Queen of Scots and tied the knot on the weekend of July 20.

She played the title role in the film, while her new husband played Lord Darnley, the monarch’s husband. The two began dating in December 2018.

The couple has kept their relationship secret over the years and even went so far as to deny a relationship.

In 2019, a Telegraph reporter asked the Little Women actress, “Can I ask you if you are dating the person everyone thinks you are dating?”

Ronan said “No” and ended the discussion.

That same year, the “Dunkirk” actor refused to answer any questions about their relationship in an interview with ES Magazine.

“Oh, I won’t talk about that. I don’t like talking about that side of life,” he said.

At the beginning of the summer, the two were spotted at the Glastonbury Music Festival in England.

The “Slow Horses” star shared a rare photo of himself and his girlfriend in love on Instagram.

Saoirse and Jack showed each other their affection as they watched a stage performance arm in arm.

Jack’s rise to fame was slow. He once dreamed of becoming a footballer and attended drama school in Edinburgh as a teenager before landing roles in Irn-Bru adverts and local plays.

In 2019, he told the Evening Standard: “I wanted to be a footballer. It broke my heart when I realised I wasn’t going to be one.”

But after his big breakthrough in 2016 in “War and Peace,” he became a well-known personality and appeared in “Mary, Queen of Scots” in 2018, where he also met his future wife.

He recently appeared with Gary Oldman in the Apple TV+ drama “Slow Horses.”
