However, the availability of these key weapons for a postseason run has both fan bases optimistic, especially given the recent form of both pitchers.

Kelly has thrown 22.0 innings this month, allowing just 6 earned runs, while Darvish has only allowed 7 earned runs in his 20.0 innings. The home run ball has kept Darvish busy this month, but he has otherwise been efficient and effective for a club that could certainly use his services down the stretch.
