Creep will officially get a sequel. The 2019 film, produced by Sam Raimi, is set in Florida and follows a young woman (Kaya Scodelario) who, trying to save her father (Barry Pepper), becomes trapped in a flooded basement with a hungry alligator during a hurricane. Talks of a sequel have been going on since 2021, when director Alexandre Aja shared that a script for the project was in the works, but no word has been said about the potential sequel. Creep2 for several more years.

Now, The Hollywood Reporter has shown that Creep2 is in development and is scheduled to shoot in Europe in fall 2024. Alexandre Aja will return as director and producer, helming a film centered on a new storyline with new main characters set in New York City.
