SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Saint Mary’s Tessa Salvestrin scored a hat trick for the Gaels and was named the Credit Union One West Coast Conference Soccer Player of the Week. Washington State’s Nadia Cooper was named the Credit Union One WCC Defensive Player of the Week after recording her 15th career shutout.

Salvestrin scored a hat trick in the Gaels’ 4-0 win over Tennessee Tech, assisting on six shots for three goals. She later added an assist against Vanderbilt for seven points on the weekend.

Nadia Cooper kept Montana from scoring in WSU’s 3-0 win. It was her 15th career shutout and her first in 2024. She saved five shots in the win. Cooper secured her 28th career win in Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Idaho.
