Sabrina Carpenter calls “hot” fan at “Short n’ Sweet” show

play

Chances are Sabrina Carpenter will ask you out in the middle of her set if she likes what she sees.

The “Espresso” singer greeted a fan from North Carolina during a performance in Columbus, Ohio, where she kicked off her “Short n’ Sweet” tour on Monday night.

A fan recorded the exchange between Carpenter and the fan, which shows her on stage with two dancers surveying the audience while police sirens blared in the background.

Carpenter gestures and points hatefully at a male fan and asks the audience, “Do you see him? Sir, you are under arrest for being too hot.”

The fans are excited and cheer loudly while the fan jumps up and down with the hat in his hand. Carpenters chats a little with the male fan and asks him what his name is and where he comes from.

“Daniel,” she says as she fans herself and smooths her hair. The clip ends with Carpenter laughing to herself when she learns that Daniel is from North Carolina.

First stop of the “Short n’ Sweet” tour was “sweet,” says the singer

Carpenter took to social media on Monday night to share some of her favorite moments from the show in Columbus, writing, “OPENING NIGHT SURE WAS SWEET!!!!”

“Thank you Columbus for the sold out show, for dressing up and singing along to every single word :’) I’m so excited to see all your pretty faces again,” she wrote.

Carpenter will play at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday night, where she will once again see the “pretty faces” of her Canadian fans.
