“Run,” Dollar Tree customer urges as she buys a kitchen utensil for $1.25, which is a quarter of the price of an item sold at Walmart
A shopper at DOLLAR Tree has discovered an essential kitchen appliance that is selling like hotcakes.
The glass storage containers can be purchased from retailers for less than $2.
The containers come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are much cheaper than the Walmart alternative.
Vivian Tenorio (@Vivian_Tries) raved about the products in a video on her YouTube channel.
“Dollar Tree is going to put the container store out of business at this point,” she said.
The containers are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe and can be used to store both raw and cooked foods.
“These went viral,” she explained.
“So hurry up, they’ll probably be sold out for a minute”
Each container can be purchased for only $1.25
Tenorio compared these items from Dollar Tree to similar products at Walmart.
“Something like that or probably smaller, I think there were about 3 for almost $8”
From what Tenorio told her fans, Dollar Tree’s storage containers seem to be much cheaper.
The US Sun has asked Tenorio for comment.
Year-round, shoppers flock to Dollar Tree stores across the U.S. to find popular replicas of essential household items.
Posts on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube praised the affordability of many of the store’s items.
These glass storage containers aren’t the only kitchen utensils that are selling like hotcakes.
Customers rave about Dollar Tree’s stainless steel steak knives.
They can be purchased in packs of two and cost $29.99.
The product looks very similar to the knives at Target, but is much cheaper.
Dollar Tree Scammers
Savvy shoppers have scoured Dollar Tree to find imitations of their favorite products
Target’s Gibson Home Seward knives have a higher price tag of $49.99.
However, they come in packs of four and not two.
Other kitchen essentials sold at Dollar Tree include sunflower-themed wine glasses, dish towels and cleaning supplies.
The chain has also received a lot of praise for its back-to-school and beauty products in recent months.
One shopper talked about several items she uses in her makeup routine.
“The beauty blenders and reusable makeup wipes are a must!” she says.
“Both work so well and cost a fraction of what you would pay at a beauty store.”
Another customer raved about an inexpensive laundry detergent that might be useful for parents during the back-to-school season.
