Fans of the cosmic video game Rogue Trooper you might be really excited to learn that Duncan Jones is working on an animated film adaptation. The filmmaker is known for having released some of the best science fiction films of recent times, including 2009’s moon And Source code from 2011, and he is clearly a video game fan, having directed 2016’s Warcraftso he seems to be the perfect choice for the job. Aneurin Barnard (Rogue Trooper)
Duncan Jones’ Rogue Trooper is voiced by Aneurin Barnard, who previously worked as a member of Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk Cast in 2017, as well as otherworldly phenomena as part of Netflix 1899 Cast and in some episodes of Doctor Who.

What Rogue Trooper is about

Accompanied by the digital consciousnesses of his three dead comrades downloaded into his rifle, helmet and backpack, the super soldier embarks on a personal mission of vengeance while embroiled in a brutal, ongoing conflict. No specific plot details for the Rogue Trooper The film has not been revealed yet, but we can imagine that a fan like Duncan Jones will be keen to stay true to the original.
Written and directed by Duncan Jones
Duncan Jones is both the author and director of Rogue Trooper. The son of the late rock star David Bowie made his feature film debut with the aforementioned moon (one of the best films of the 2000s), followed by Source code, Warcraftand a Netflix movie called Mute from 2018.
Jones is also producing the film along with Stuart Fenegan and Jason and Chris Kingsley.
