Rockin the Rivers, Arts Festival, Blues Festival and Huckleberry Festivals attract crowds

There’s a lot to see and do across Western Montana this weekend, celebrating rock and blues music, art and blueberries.

Three forks

Rockin the Rivers draws rock ‘n’ roll fans to the bridge near Three Forks.

Organizers say this festival has become one of the must-attend rock shows in the country.

Tonight, The Wall Flower and Hinder are on stage. Tomorrow night, rock out to Stone Temple Pilots, Hubastank and more.

Lincoln

The Lincoln Arts and Music Festival now features live music tomorrow and Sunday.

You will see artists from all over the country as well as artisans and many types of food vendors.

Trout stream

The 44th Annual Trout Creek Huckleberry Festival showcases handcrafted arts and crafts items as well as a variety of fun events, food and entertainment for everyone.

Swan Lake

The 42nd annual Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 10, at Swan Lake Day Park near mile marker 72 on Montana Highway 83.

Activities include a pancake breakfast, blueberry baking contest, blueberry baked goods sale, more than 50 vendors and more.

Libby

The 15th annual Riverfront Blues Festival begins in Libby.

The event begins on Friday and ends after midnight on Saturday with the All Star Jam.

The gates open on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

There will be vendors, beers and fun.

In Whitefish, the Huckleberry Days Arts Festival begins Friday at Depot Park.

There will be free blueberry ice cream (while supplies last), a living statue and other events.
