Earl Minnis Presents and the Lobero Theatre Foundation present the Robert Cray Band on Saturday, September 14th at 7:30pm at the Lobero Theatre.

Five-time Grammy Award winner blues, soul and rock musician Robert Cray celebrates 50 years of touring, was honored with the Americana Music Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance, and was inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk and the Blues Hall of Fame.

The Robert Cray Band consists of Robert Cray (vocals/guitar), Richard Cousins ​​​​(bass), Dover Weinberg (keyboards) and George Sluppick (drums).

From forming a garage band in his teens to performing alongside the greatest guitarists in the world, Cray’s story of struggle and dedication led to his success – selling millions of albums and countless concert tickets.

On his latest album, “That’s What I Heard,” Cray celebrates four new songs as well as the music of Curtis Mayfield, Bobby “Blue” Bland, the Sensational Nightingales and others.

Cray has shared the stage and/or studio with the likes of John Lee Hooker and BB King, Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters, Albert Collins and Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton, Tina Turner and Buddy Guy.
