It was a great 120 minutes of wrestling on ROH this week, so it was fitting that it started with a match involving many, many people!

EIGHT-MAN TAG MATCH: ROH World Six-Man Champions Dustin Rhodes, Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich and ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara vs. Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) and Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver)

Last week’s show ended with all eight competitors (plus Evlio Uno) in the ring battling it out. Dark Order and The Kingdom came out on top, leaving Rhodes, Guevara and The Von Erichs beaten up in the ring. So this huge battle for the win was definitely a slobberknocker, as someone always put it.

(It should also be noted that Rhodes and Guevara won the ROH Tag Titles at Collision, so that’s something too.)

The match began with Rhodes, the Von Erichs and Guevara applying the Iron Claw to their opponents. This caused things to get even worse as a brawl broke out and all eight men in the ring grappled with each other. Eventually the match officially began with a duel between Marshall and Silver.

Rhodes was isolated in enemy territory when he faced Bennett. Taven was tagged in, but Rhodes fought his way out with a significant size advantage. The Order and the Kingdom were reluctant teammates, more or less ignoring each other until it was time for open brawling. Even Evil Uno got involved from the outside. Fortunately, Von Erichs and Guevara were ready and managed to drive the action back into the ring.

Rhodes tagged in Guevara, who entered over the top rope. He cleared the ring and hit a springboard cutter on Reynolds. Marshall tagged in and showed Silver his moonsault skills. At this point, another brawl broke out and the Rhodes/Guevara/Von Erich team took down their opponents and were about to go for the claw when all of their opponents got low blows and all eight men in the ring were doubled over.

Eventually, Marshall found himself in the ring with Silver. Everyone assumed they were the legal men, and Marshall hit Silver with a claw slam to end the chaos and get the pin that won the match for his team.
