Actress Rhiannon Fish chatted about her leading role in “A Wedding in Costa Rica” on Hallmark.

The summary is: A clumsy maid of honor gets help from her handsome arch-nemesis when something goes wrong at her best friend’s wedding in Costa Rica.

“This movie was my favorite so far,” she admitted. “I’ve been really lucky to have some wonderful experiences with the Hallmark Channel, but this one was by far my favorite.”

She said of filming in Costa Rica: “It was incredible to film there. You could be so close to it. All the places and all the creatures were 100 percent real. Costa Rica was very real overall.”

Fish on working with Christopher Russell

“Christopher Russell was wonderful as my leading man,” she admitted. “I was very lucky to work with some incredible co-stars like Hunter King and Tyler Hynes who were a dream to work with and now I can add Chris Russell to that list.”

“I feel incredibly lucky. I hit the jackpot with all of them… Marcus Rosner, Clayton James and also Madison Smith. All great scene partners and leading men,” she added.

Latest efforts

Commenting on her recent endeavors, she said: “We have a lot of balls in the air and a lot coming up, which is very exciting.”

She revealed that she would love to one day make a sequel to the crime thriller “Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths,” in which she could work with Hunter King again.

Success

On her definition of success, Fish said, “Success is being happy. That’s the most important thing. You can have all the money in the world, but if you’re not happy and healthy, none of that really matters. That’s true success.”
