In the interview the question was asked:

“Is it true that you got $3 million for the Ambani wedding in India?”

Rema replied with the words:

“Hehehe, that’s all I can honestly say. Money-wise it was a big achievement, it was beautiful. I love India and India loves me too. It’s just a good feeling to see something that people have been trolling and criticising me for come to fruition and I’m benefiting from it. Imagine if I had stopped doing that, imagine if I had listened to the trolls. I think I feel like I need to make a change and four years later, it’s paid off and it’s paid off big time.”
