Reese Witherspoon appeared like America’s sweetheart at the 2024 Emmy Awards. The actress walked the red carpet in a beautiful black strapless dress decorated with floral embroidery with small white pearls.
Witherspoon tends toward a minimalist and preppy style, but knows how to elevate a red carpet look when the moment arrives. This time, she accessorized her dress with a gorgeous white and yellow diamond necklace and matching earrings and rings.
She had her sunny blonde hair pinned up in a high ballerina bun and wore rosy makeup, including glossy pink lips.
Witherspoon is nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Bradley Jackson. The morning showHer series co-star and long-time friend Jennifer Aniston is also nominated in this category.
The Apple TV+ series, which follows the lives of the people behind a morning news show, is also nominated for best drama series. Both Aniston and Witherspoon are executive producers.
Before filming The morning showThe two actors had worked together before, when Witherspoon made a hilarious and unforgettable cameo Friends as the sister of Aniston’s character Rachel Green.
“I just look at her and think: You’re totally killing me just by looking at your plate,” Aniston told The Sun. Harper’s Bazaar for Witherspoon’s August 2023 cover story. “She is one of the most productive people I have ever met. It’s unbelievable.”
In addition to her work as an actress, Witherspoon runs her own production company Hello Sunshine, which has produced major films including The song of the crayfish (2022) and Hot chase (2015), the latter starring Witherspoon. She also runs an acclaimed book club and her own clothing brand, Draper James.
“Oh my goodness, I know. I’m really excited about work, so I have a lot of nervous energy,” Witherspoon admitted bazaar“I’m a pretty nervous person.”
