Reddit has been hit by an outage that is plaguing thousands of users in the US. The issues, which occurred around 10 a.m. ET, are affecting the app and website

DownDetector, a site that monitors online outages, shows that the problems started just before 10:00 a.m., but saw a massive spike about 30 minutes later.

The website’s live outage map shows New York, Seattle and Los Angeles in the red, and other major cities are experiencing problems as well.

Approximately 66 percent of the issues reported to DownDetector were related to the app, 29 percent to the website, and only six percent reported server connection issues.

Reddit users have expressed their frustration with X, posting that they see a blank screen in the app.
