A number of Nashville hitmakers and emerging artists will take over the Ascend Amphitheater on Wednesday night (October 2) for the first Red Bull Jukebox Nashville concert, headlined by Grammy-winning duo Brothers Osborne.

The lineup will also feature Shaboozey (who is in his 12th year).^Th Week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with his song “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” BRELAND, Tucker Wetmore, Priscilla Block, Muscadine Bloodline and sibling trio The Castellows.

Ward Guenther, founder/owner of the popular music discovery series Whiskey Jam, will be on hand to host the event. He tells billboard he and his team “worked very closely with them to curate the lineup.”

“We’re trying to bring in members of the Whiskey Jam family, ‘Jam Fam’ as we like to call them, people who have played our shows over the years and honestly just bring the best mix of music and entertainment we can find “We could,” Günther said. “Brothers Osborne has one of the best live shows you will ever see. As headliners, they will represent exactly what we want to achieve with this event: an energetic set that is as much for the audience as it is for the artists involved. We chose the Ascend Amphitheater (outdoor) as a good base – it feels like a mini-festival.”

The Nashville show will be the Red Bull Jukebox Series’ first event in the United States, having previously taken place in Japan and Switzerland, among other places (the Swiss show featured artist Hecht).

A key differentiator of Red Bull Jukebox shows is the setlist, which is curated through fan voting. Fans offer their picks in a series of questions posted on the Red Bull Jukebox website and artists’ social media, such as: B. whether they would rather see Brothers Osborne play with a brass band or a bluegrass band, or whether they would like to see block covers of hits by Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Paramore or Riley Green, or whether BRELAND would like to see one of his musical colleagues from the Genres country, hip-hop or songwriting should be welcomed as guests. Fans will also have the opportunity to vote in person during the show on October 2nd using wristbands that will be distributed to attendees.

“The whole thing will be a surprise for us and the artists as well as for the people in the audience,” said Günther.

The event’s house band will be led by acclaimed Nashville musicians, including ACM Award-winning guitarist and producer Derek Wells.

“It will be fun to watch the artists spontaneously perform,” says Günther. “We have a world-class band supporting all the artists and they have to learn tons of songs to be prepared for whatever happens. But I think that’s going to be a big part of the magic of this show. If you’ve seen everyone on the program, you’ve never seen this show.”

Since its launch in 2011, Whiskey Jam has hosted over 1,000 shows spotlighting up-and-coming Nashville songwriters and artists, including Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll, who have performed at Whiskey Jam over the years have occurred. The similar mission of the Red Bull Jukebox Show was part of the appeal for Günther.

“The focus on emerging artists is a big thing. Like we did in Nashville with Whiskey Jam, you have to have a few recognizable names to get people in the door, but the hope for this event and the future of this event is that we bring the future of music. “said Günther. “When you attend a Red Bull Jukebox show, you get a taste of what to expect. It was a great collaborative effort… it’s like Whiskey Jam, enhanced by the power of Red Bull.”

The Red Bull Jukebox Nashville show will spotlight up-and-coming artists – however, in this case, one of those up-and-coming artists, Shaboozey, has seen his artist profile skyrocket since signing on for the show.

“When we started talking to Shaboozey, he wasn’t even on Beyoncé’s record (Cowboy Carter), and then when (“A Bar Song (Tipsy)”) came out and he had that (packed show in the middle of downtown Nashville at) CMA Fest, we were like, “Wow, we’re about halfway to Red.” Bull Jukebox and that is already the answer. We can’t wait until it starts in October.’”

Guenther says another Red Bull Jukebox show in Nashville would be a possibility, as well as holding Red Bull Jukebox concerts in other U.S. cities.

“You could do a Red Bull Jukebox event in a place like Miami that would be the exact opposite of what we do in Nashville. You could have one in Texas or New York and they would all feel completely different,” he says, adding, “I can see it happening again (in Nashville) if it does as well as we did Expect it.” And there’s room to grow with a lot of potential in Nashville to do bigger, even completely different shows here.”
