RECT, customer service talks planned at RVDA Congress/Expo – RVBusiness

FAIRFAX, Virginia – Improving the performance of stationary operations is at the top of the agenda of training workshops led by Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS) speakers at the RV Dealers Convention/Expo.

The Convention/Expo will be held November 11-15, 2024 at Paris Las Vegas and is sponsored by the RVDA of the USA, the RVDA of Canada and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

Daniela Müller

On November 14 at 12:45 p.m., Don Miller, senior consultant at IDS, will present “Pulse Check: Current RECT Trends and Their Driving Forces” as part of the Inpatient Operations Training.

This presentation is designed to help dealers compare their dealership’s performance with the rest of the industry and provide practical advice on how to improve the efficiency and profitability of each service department.

The learning objectives include:

  • RECT trends in the industry, highlighting which brands are performing best in which specific area
  • What critical service metrics you should track, including RECT, and how to use that data to compare your dealership’s performance to others in your area
  • Areas of your dealership that you should take a closer look at so that you can improve processes and focus your resources where they will have the greatest impact
Allison Miller

On November 14th at 3:15 p.m., Allison Miller, Sales Engineer at IDS, will present in the training track “Fixed Operations: Improve the Customer Experience in Fixed Operations through Automation.”

With sales and profit margins affected by interest rates and market forces, more and more retailers are focusing on maximizing profits in fixed-price transactions. This means the customer experience must be far superior to the competition – more frequent, more personal and more helpful.

The learning objectives include:

  • Communicate proactively with customers by automating text messages, follow-ups, reminders, and more.
  • Improve cross-departmental collaboration and communication to enhance your customer experience.
  • Identify communication gaps in your fixed ops department.
