Another day of dangerous heat is in the forecast. A combination of near-record temperatures and high humidity will keep our feels like temperatures in the 100s for most of the afternoon. Corpus Christi will likely surpass the record set on August 20th, which will be set in 2023.
Tuesday’s heat will be dangerous and increase the risk of heat-related illness. Children, pets and the elderly are most vulnerable to heat-related illness, so it’s important to check on friends and loved ones to make sure they can brave the heat.

It’s going to get even hotter on Wednesday! The forecasted high temperatures would not only surpass the record set on August 21, but they would also be the highest temperatures Corpus Christi has seen in all of 2024 and the highest temperatures since August 2023.
