Ravens vs. Bills Sunday Night Football: Open thread

We’ve been waiting all day and now it’s Sunday evening! The Baltimore Ravens host the Buffalo Bills in prime time in a clash of AFC contenders.

For the Ravens, this game is about proving themselves as a contender. Winning a game against the undefeated, red-hot Bills with Josh Allen playing the most effective and dangerous football he has ever played.

Defensively, they will have to contain the Bills and their deep offensive arsenal and clamp down to show that they are far from being the last-ranked pass defense without collapsing as the NFL’s No. 1 run defense.

Offensively, they must prove themselves capable of running the ball effectively not only against the Dallas Cowboys’ poor defensive line, but against other teams as well. And, most importantly, not to fall into ineptitude in the fourth quarter.

For the Bills, it’s about continuing their dominance. They have wiped the floor with weak teams on their schedule. Are the Ravens weak? Some numbers suggest yes. Others suggest no. It’s hard to say the Ravens are another challenge when they have Lamar Jackson, but sinking them to 1-3 this season and getting to 4-0 would be a big step as they look are after high championship goals.
