The Rams’ biggest concerns, trailing 10-3 at halftime, are injuries to left tackle Joe Noteboom (ankle) and Puka Nacua (knee).

Noteboom was taken to the locker room and third-row tackle AJ Arcuri took his place (Arcuri gave up at least one pressure after being substituted). Nacua landed on his knee during a catch and limped off the field before receiving a detailed evaluation by the medical staff in the blue tent on the sideline. He eventually returned for a few plays but was again substituted (Tyler Johnson took his place) and sat on the bench on the sideline to speak with the medical staff.

Meanwhile, after an initial goal-line stand early in the second quarter that tied the game 3-3, the Rams’ defense became porous. Two plays on a 77-yard touchdown drive totaled 50 yards and allowed for a 2-yard touchdown run by Jahmyr Gibbs.

Stafford was under pressure on nearly every dropback, but he was intercepted in the end zone by Kerby Joseph inside the 10-yard line (the Rams threw from the 8-yard line on consecutive plays). When Jared Goff and the Lions took over at the 20-yard line with 15 seconds left in the half, rookie outside linebacker Jared Verse made his first sack.

The Rams will not be able to get their offense together if their offensive line continues to play like this.
