It’s time for the first Sunday Night Football duel of the 2024 season, and there couldn’t be any more exciting topics than before the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions meet at Ford Field.

The Lions won their first playoff game in more than three decades in January, beating the Rams 24-23 in Detroit. Matthew Stafford, who spent the first 12 years of his career with the Lions, returned to Detroit for the first time as an opposing player. The Rams lost to Jared Goff, who led them to a Super Bowl appearance as quarterback in 2018.

Both offenses will be explosive with the two talented, experienced quarterbacks and there could be fireworks tonight at Ford Field. The game concludes the first Sunday of NFL action, which saw Miami narrowly escape at home against Jacksonville and Chicago pick up a win in Caleb Williams’ first start of the early transfer window.

Week 1 ends with the New York Jets visiting the San Francisco 49ers on “Monday Night Football.”
