It’s only one game, but it’s starting to remind you of 2022, when the Rams were plagued by injuries during their historic Super Bowl hangover.

Star receiver Puka Nacua suffered a knee injury in the second quarter that forced him out of the game at halftime, left tackle Joe Noteboom was carted off to the locker room with an ankle injury and left guard Steve Avila did not play in the second half because of a knee injury.

Right guard Kevin Dotson left the locker room on crutches and wearing a protective boot for his left foot and ankle.

Jonah Jackson moved from center to right guard and rookie Beaux Limmer played center. AJ Arcuri, promoted from the practice squad this week, replaced Noteboom at left tackle.

The Rams play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Left tackle Alaric Jackson remains suspended for one more game, but right tackle Rob Havenstein could potentially return from an ankle injury.

“We’ll see how serious the injuries are for these guys,” coach Sean McVay said, adding, “We’re developing more depth, but we’re not going to let anything happen. We’re going to learn from things that have happened in previous years … and when guys get hurt, you know what: It’s our job to get the next guys back up and running, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.”
