QB Jayden Daniels scores 4-yard touchdown for Commanders

CINCINNATI – It’s Monday Night Football time in the Jungle.

You can watch the Bengals game against the Commanders on WCPO 9.

Commanders: 21 | Bengals: 10

Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels reached the end zone and scored a 4-yard touchdown.

Bengals right tackle Trent Brown was carted off the field in the second quarter after injuring his right knee. According to the Bengals, Brown has been ruled out of the game.

The Commanders scored their second touchdown of the night on a 24-yard run by running back Austin Ekeler.

After an unsuccessful tackle, Bengals kicker Evan McPherson attempted a 48-yard field goal but missed. McPherson also missed a crucial field goal last week against the Chiefs.

After the Bengals scored, the Commanders came back with a 1-yard rushing touchdown from Brian Robinson Jr.

Dig for hunting.

On the opening drive of the game, Joe Burrow threw a long 41-yard touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase. The touchdown was Chase’s first of the season and Burrow’s 100th of his career.

The Bengals (0-2), who are considered favorites, are aiming for their first win of the season against the Washington Commanders (1-1).

For the first time this season, Joe Burrow has all of his receivers available. Tee Higgins plays for the first time this season after missing two games with a hamstring injury.

A win could put Cincinnati back on track for the season, while a loss would give them their worst start since losing their first 11 games of the 2019 season.

The overall record in the series between Cincinnati and Washington is 5-5-1, with the Commanders last beating Cincinnati 20-9 in 2020. That game also saw rookie Burrow tear an ACL.

WCPO 9 provides postgame coverage immediately after the game.
