Residents will have the opportunity to comment on Angleton ISD’s proposed 2024-25 tax rate and budget during a public hearing at the Board of Trustees’ regular meeting Tuesday night.

Trustees will also consider the 2024-25 compensation plan as well as a modification to the Central Elementary School playground project, a project included in the 2022 bond.

The county’s proposed combined operating and debt service rate for 2024-25 is 95.08 cents per $100 of assessed property value, a decrease from this year’s rate of 95.33 cents.
