Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended wishes to his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, the people of Israel and the Jewish community around the world on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah.

Rosh Hashanah means “head of the year.” It is a two-day celebration that marks the beginning of the Jewish High Holidays each fall.
