Presque Isle Elks Football Shootout

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – On Sunday, September 15, Presque Isle Elks, Lodge No. 1954, hosted the annual football shootout at the University of Maine in Presque Isle.

Craig MacFarline, director of football shooting for the Presque Isle Elks, reported that the winners in the 8-and-under age division were Eli Ireland, son of Staci and Lucas Ireland, and Kenzie Hickey, daughter of Stacy and Ben Hickey.

In the under 10 age group, Kooper Griffeth, daughter of Joel Griffeth, and Oakley Stetson, son of Rachel and Spencer Stetson, were the winners.

Aaron Cloukey, son of Shawn Cunningham and AJ Cloukey, was the winner in the under 12 age group.

In the under 14 age group, Delanie Cyr, daughter of Danielle and Derrick Cyr, was the winner.

According to MacFarline, these winners will be eligible to compete in the Northern District of Maine Championships, which will be held on Sunday, September 22, at Husson University in Bangor.
