The Florida State Seminoles and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets open the 2024–25 college football season on Saturday with a thrilling Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin, Ireland.
The Seminoles are back from last season, in which they failed to make the College Football Playoff despite going undefeated and winning the ACC championship. Now, head coach Mike Novell is focusing on a new offensive strategy, with former Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei filling in for Jordan Travis.
Georgia Tech will look to build on last season’s seven wins. They will face Florida State for the first time since 2022, when the Seminoles defeated the Yellow Jackets 41-16.
