A former porn star who now gives dating advice to men has come under fire after revealing how he “disciplines” the women he dates.
Stirling Cooper, a self-proclaimed sex coach from Western Australia, recently appeared on the podcast “Frankifyy” to share his secrets for “improved sexual performance” and “successful dates with the woman of your dreams.”
In the hour-long podcast episode shared on YouTube, Cooper detailed how he turned down a woman he thought drank too much on a date and said he would throw out anyone who wore jeans.
The controversial content creator, who has been compared to controversial influencer Andrew Tate, has since been heavily criticized for his comments, which many have described as “misogynistic” and “controlling.”
“I hate it when women wear jeans on a date. It’s the most unfeminine thing I can think of,” says the 37-year-old in a clip from the episode that has since gone viral.
“I would say before we meet: ‘Don’t wear jeans.’ If you wear jeans, I’m going home. Pretty clear.”
Cooper, who frequently promotes penis enlargement products, according to the New York Post, also advised men to set clear limits on alcohol consumption.
The former porn star, who recently said he “discourages men from engaging in any kind of pornography” after leaving the industry in 2020, said he discourages women from ordering more alcoholic drinks than he thinks they have.
“I will forbid a woman from drinking if I think she has had too much to drink,” Cooper said.
“She had a drink. Two drinks. She drinks way too much and then orders another one. I’m going to tell her. I’m going to stop the waiter and say, ‘No, you’re not getting her a drink, get her a water instead.'”
He added: “In a way, it’s like a father disciplining his daughter.”
Cooper then boldly claimed that women had told him the move was “the sexiest thing a man has ever done” – but many viewers described it as “controlling” and “misogynistic” behavior.
“I think they probably said it was the most ‘sexist’ thing a man has ever done! But he only heard what he wanted to hear because I highly doubt he has ever listened to a woman,” one commented.
“He doesn’t like jeans on a date? So I don’t like misogyny and daddy control issues on a date,” one commented on Instagram.
“If you try to control what your partner can wear and consume on the first date, I can’t imagine a second date and subsequent dates…” replied another.
Another commented: “Did he really say he was giving his date the father-daughter treatment? Yuck.”
“Run to the mountains,” one woman emphasized.
Other women mocked Cooper’s advice, with one explaining, “I signed up for a date, not an adoption interview with a man who thinks he could be my father.”
“Oh NOW I KNOW why I’m single… it’s because I always wear jeans while doing whatever the f*** I want!!!!!” mocked another.
“I don’t even drink but this makes me want to go out with him and drink just to annoy him. In my favorite jeans,” laughed another.
Cooper began his new career as a self-proclaimed “sex coach” after working as a porn star for five years, during which time he says he won “several awards” for his performances.
He has now become a relationship coach and offers a range of “educational” products, including a book he wrote that claims to help men develop their masculinity.
His tidbits include telling boys to be “uninhibitedly masculine” and preaching that “sex is a learnable skill.”
He said he decided to become a “sex coach” after receiving a flood of messages because of his porn career.
“I started replying to everyone I could, and I eventually realized that the average man was facing a lot of problems in his love life,” he said Life And Style Magazine last year.
