Meanwhile, a survey by Super Poll found that a majority of Thais do not expect the new government to help increase their incomes.

The quantitative and qualitative examination of 1,131 samples across the country was carried out from August 22 to 24. The results of the examination are as follows:

  • 63.6%: Moderately to very dissatisfied
  • 36.4%: Moderately to very satisfied

Do you expect the new government to help you increase your income?

  • 55.4%: Do not expect
  • 44.6%: Expect

What is your favorite politics?

  • 46.5%: Soft power election of Prime Minister-designate Paetongtarn
  • 42.8%: Social management by the incumbent Minister of the Interior Anutin Charnvirakul
  • 33.7%: Development of transport, infrastructure and logistics by the government led by former Prime Minister Prayuth Chan o-cha
  • 32.8%: Introduction of digital technologies in education by the incumbent Education Minister Permpoon Chidchob
  • 26.7%: Promotion of artificial intelligence by the incumbent Minister of Higher Education Supamas Isarabhakdi

Are you afraid of political conflicts?

  • 64.4%: Concerned
  • 35.6%: No worries

Super Poll advised the new government to ensure economic stability, take measures to increase people’s incomes, hold public hearings to build public confidence, promote the development of digital skills to increase the competitiveness of the workforce, and resolve political conflicts.
