Playboi Carti releases new song “All Red” and confuses some fans
On Friday (September 13), Playboi Carti released his new song “All Red” with just a few hours’ notice. Upon first listen, you can hear Carti in a very deep voice spitting boastful bars over a hypnotic, energetic beat. His voice is so deep that many fans say he sounds like Future.
“That’s not Carti, that damn Future,” wrote one fan. “Carti has gone from a gangster to a Future,” added another fan. “Carti accidentally uploaded a new Future song,” another person said.
It’s true that the voice Carti chose for “All Red” is noticeably deeper than the high-pitched screeches heard on most of his previous albums. Lots of redHowever, he was also heard experimenting with a deeper baritone on Travis Scott’s “Fe!n” last year.

Playboi Carti announces I am music Packages
Before the release of “All Red,” Playboi Carti also revealed some merch and digital pre-orders for his long-awaited album on his website I am music. Although there is no release date yet, the album is available for pre-order for $9.99. The merch packs also include a special edition hoodie, and while no shipping date is given, it does say, “Product will ship in six months at the latest.” Hopefully, that means fans can expect I am music will be released within the next six months. Frankly, this could be distressing news for Carti fans. Carti first announced I am music in December 2023 and he has been hinting at it ever since.
