Planned roadworks for Marlboro: What you need to know

MARLBORO, NJ — Road work is planned throughout Marlboro next week, the Town of Marlboro announced Friday evening.

According to a Marlboro Township road construction notice, road work will begin Monday evening and continue through Friday. Roads will be closed during construction, officials said. Police are on site and a detour has been set up.

What you need to know:

Monday, August 19
From approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the intersection of Route 520 and Gordons Corner Road will be closed for milling and paving work.

In addition to the intersection closure, officials said the contractor’s crew will be making drainage improvements on Harbor Road between Henry Hudson Trail and Route 79 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, August 20
The contractor’s crew will be on Harbor Road from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to perform drainage improvements between the Henry Hudson Trail and Route 79.

Wednesday, August 21
The contractor’s crew will be on Harbor Road from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to perform drainage improvements between the Henry Hudson Trail and Route 79.

Thursday, August 22
From 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., New Jersey Natural Gas will be performing a gas line replacement on School Road East between Warren Drive and Oak Lane.

Friday, August 23
From 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., New Jersey Natural Gas will be performing a gas line replacement on School Road East between Warren Drive and Oak Lane.

In addition to the work on School Road East, the contractor’s crew will perform milling and paving work on Lloyd Road between Route 79 and the Aberdeen border from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
