Pierce Transit service changes begin Sept. 1 – The Suburban Times

On Sunday, September 1, Pierce Transit weekend bus schedules will be changed on nearly all routes (except routes 57 and 214) to improve service. Some changes will also be made on select routes. on weekdays:

  • Line 3 runs every 15 minutes between 1pm and 6pm
  • An additional service is offered on line 100 in the morning and afternoon.
  • An evening service will be added to Route 41 from Tacoma Mall Transit Center.
  • Timetable adjustments on several routes, including adjustments to the timetables of some local schools

Service changes at Pierce Transit and Sound Transit, operated by Pierce Transit, will occur on Sunday, September 1, while service changes at many other transit systems in the Puget Sound region will occur the weekend of September 14.

Pierce Transit will operate on its Sunday schedule on Labor Day (Monday, September 2).

  2. Monitors at the most important airport transfer hubs with real-time arrival information.

  5. Call (from any phone) or text (from a smartphone) your bus stop number to 253.533.7084 for real-time arrival information.
  6. Call Pierce Transits Customer Service Center for assistance at 253.581.8000 (option 2, then option 2 again). Customer service can also Print and send individual route timetables.
