An unknown individual approached her, forcibly removed her phone, and then fled the station on foot in an unknown direction.

  • After nearly three weeks, police search for missing New Jersey woman intensifies

    MANCHESTER, New Jersey—Manchester Township police are asking the public for help in locating 24-year-old Erin Garofalo. Garofalo, who last had contact with her family on July 25, spoke by phone and has not been heard from since.

    Garofalo was last seen in the Trenton area, specifically near Barnt Avenue, and is known to frequent Hamilton, Princeton, and East Windsor. She is described as a white female, approximately 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, and has brown hair. She also uses the aliases Erin Taylor and Erin Gilbert.

    Despite numerous investigative efforts, her current whereabouts remain unknown. Authorities are asking anyone with information on Erin Garofalo’s whereabouts to contact Manchester Police at 732-657-6111.

  • Atlantic City police arrest man who threw dog over fence

    ATLANTIC CITY, NJ— The Atlantic City Police Department announced the arrest of 23-year-old Jahlil McNeal following a detailed investigation into several cases of animal cruelty.

    The investigation, which began on July 15, was led by Officer Matthew Schmidt of the agency’s Humane Law Enforcement Division.

    In the first incident, McNeal allegedly abandoned a dog after hours at the Humane Society of Atlantic County, causing injuries. The investigation revealed that the dog was thrown over a fence, landed on its side and was found with its fur missing.

    Further investigation linked McNeal to a similar case in April in which he abandoned three dogs in the same location in a similar manner. Following these discoveries, McNeal was charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty and related offenses.

    McNeal was arrested Friday during a traffic stop on Baltic Avenue by Officers Michael Regalbuto and Alex Torres. He is charged with four counts of animal cruelty and failure to provide proper care, two counts of theft of services and one count of witness tampering.

    He is currently being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility. The charges against McNeal are accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
