Patrick Mahomes playfully poked fun at Jason Kelce’s dancing skills after the retired Philadelphia Eagles center unashamedly danced away at a pre-game celebration.
The 36-year-old former NFL player took the stage on Monday before the Eagles’ home game against the Atlanta Falcons and performed a crazy choreography in videos shared by ESPN.
“Jason Kelce is BACK in Philly,” the network wrote on X along with a clip of Kelce running in place while techno music blares from a DJ booth.
Wearing a green terry cloth tracksuit and white sneakers, Travis Kelce’s older brother jumped around uncontrollably to the beat.
Travis’ teammate Mahomes, 29, on the Kansas City Chiefs, took the opportunity to poke fun at Jason by re-sharing ESPN’s video on his own X account.
“Then go crazy!!”, the quarterback captioned his post and added five crying-laughing emojis.
Fortunately, Jason was not offended by Mahomes’ comment and simply replied: “Hahaha, you saw it yourself (sic)!”
While the 15-year-old founder of the Mahomies Foundation found Jason’s dancing skills ridiculous, other Internet users were impressed by his rhythm.
“This is what peak male performance looks like,” wrote one person on X.
“The Kelce Bros have the moves,” said a second fan.
“Guy living life to the fullest, LFG,” a third person chimed in.
Jason showed support for his former team after retiring from football in March.
He joined the Eagles as the team’s sixth-round pick in the 2011 draft and spent his entire professional career, which spanned 13 seasons, with the franchise, winning a Super Bowl ring in 2018 and infamously losing the 2023 championship game to his brother’s team.
Since leaving the sport, Jason continues to provide commentary on his podcast with 34-year-old Travis, who signed a $100 million deal with Amazon’s Wondery last month, as well as on ESPN.
Jason was also able to spend more time with his wife Kylie Kelce, whom he married in 2018, and their three daughters: Wyatt (4), Elliotte (3) and Bennett (1).
