Parsippany PAL announces exciting program of fall sports and activities

PARSIPPANY — As fall approaches, the Parsippany Police Athletic League (PAL) is preparing to offer a variety of sports and activities designed to appeal to community members of all ages. From basketball clinics and STEM programs to dance classes and parent-child activities, there is something for everyone this fall.

Basketball fans will love PAL’s basketball program for children in grades K-8, which runs from September 16 to October 21. Registration closes September 9, so parents are encouraged to register soon to secure a spot for their young athletes.

For the youngest members of the community, the Parent-child classes provide a wonderful opportunity for bonding and early childhood development. These classes are designed for children ages 1.5 to 3.5 years and run every Tuesday from September 17th to November 5th. Registration closes on September 10th.

Artistic expression will also be the focus. Art lessons available Tuesdays from September 17th to October 22nd. This program offers children the opportunity to explore their artistic talents in a supportive environment.

Another highlight of the autumn program is the Multisport Squirts Program tailored for young children ages 2.5 to 4.5 years old. This program, which runs from September 18 to November 6, introduces young children to various sports in a fun and exciting way. Parents should register by September 11 to ensure their child’s participation.

The Introduction to dance program for grades K-3 is a must for anyone with a passion for dance. This program runs Wednesdays from September 18th to October 23rd and offers an introduction to dance. Registration closes September 11th.

STEM enthusiasts should check out the STEM Builder Program available for grades 1 to 5. This program runs from September 18 to October 23 and aims to stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics through hands-on activities. Registration closes on September 11.

Adults can also participate with the Men’s Basketball Leagueavailable to participants ages 35 and older. The league, which features both “A” and “B” divisions, runs from September 18 to November 13. Registration is required by September 4.

For the little football stars, the Football splashes The program is ideal for children ages 1.5 to 3.5 years. The program runs from September 19th to November 7th, registration ends on September 12th.

Volleyball fans in grades 3-8 can improve their skills with the Volleyball educational game Program that runs Thursdays from September 19 to October 24. Parents are asked to register by September 12.

The Little moving helpers The program for children ages 3 to 5 offers a fun introduction to movement and dance. It runs from September 20 to October 25 and parents should register by September 13.

The Parent & Me Stretch program is ideal for parents who want to stretch and bond with their little ones. This class is suitable for children ages 1.5 to 3 years old. and runs from September 20th to October 25th, registration ends on September 13th.

With the approaching cold season, PAL is also preparing for its Winter Wrestling Program, open to students in grades K-8. This program runs from November 2024 to March 2025 and provides an excellent opportunity for young wrestlers to develop their skills. Registration is open until November 1st, and fees vary by grade and level.

Finally, the Winter Basketball League And Winter Basketball Clinic are also being planned, offering young athletes additional opportunities to stay active during the winter. The league is open to students in grades 3-12, while the clinic is designed for children in grades K-2.
