Paola Anderson (formerly Finizio) has revealed more details of her dreamy Italian wedding to Montreal Canadiens right winger Josh Anderson. On Thursday, Anderson took to Instagram to share her favorite photos from their June 26 nuptials, a colorful ceremony at the rustic Masseria Don Luigi in Brindisi, a city in the southern Puglia region of Italy.

“Married my favorite person in my favorite place in the world,” Anderson captioned a series of photos taken by Italian wedding photographer Marilisa Spinazzola.

In a series of three separate posts, Anderson shared photos from the entire day and a glimpse into her three wardrobe changes. For the outdoor ceremony, the physical therapist opted for a strapless Ines Di Santo dress with a detachable ballgown skirt, which transitioned into an A-line gown for the dinner portion of the reception.

“Forever with you,” she wrote under the portraits of the couple, which were taken during the golden hour.

After an al fresco dinner, the couple and their guests enjoyed a champagne toast while cutting their three-tiered cake. The bride opted for a silk halter dress to dance the night away in, while Josh took off his shirt to celebrate with a drink in hand, wearing just his pants and jacket.

The beautiful photos earned the Montreal-based physiotherapist and Burlington, Ontario-born athlete much praise.

“The most beautiful bride,” someone wrote.

“The most stunning couple,” agreed another.

“This is more than perfect,” wrote one follower.

Italy is a special place for the couple; the two got engaged during a holiday in the Puglia region in May 2023.

“My human, forever! The most perfect night in my forever happy place. Here’s to a lifetime of love,” Anderson wrote alongside her then-fiancé under the photo.

In November 2023, Anderson traveled to New York City for a bachelorette weekend with the partners of Montreal Canadiens players, including Emma Fortin (now married to Brendan Gallagher), Emily Flat (now married to Jake Evans), and Joel Edmundson’s fiancée Ebony.

Anderson shared a carousel of photos from the weekend, including a snap showing the quartet of brides-to-be in matching white outfits, with the caption: “Celebrating our fiancé era with the best.”
