The Oregon Ducks star quarterback took a long-awaited kneeldown earlier this month.
Dillon Gabriel and his girlfriend Zoe Caswell announced their engagement on social media on Wednesday. Gabriel proposed on September 1 and took part in a photo shoot with Caswell on the riverfront in Eugene.
The two met in high school and have been together during Gabriel’s time at UCF, Oklahoma and now Oregon. In July, they shared the story of losing their puppy Winston, which led to a vulnerable, emotional moment from Gabriel at Oregon football’s media day.
Since Gabriel is in the middle of his sixth and final season of college football, the wedding will likely take place sometime between his final game with the Ducks and his move to the NFL.
